When tasked with helping HR recruit recent college graduates for GroupM and its agencies, we decided to push MetaVision Media's client Nespresso to the forefront because.... don't all good conversations happen over coffee?
We turned a traditional trade show booth into a pop-up coffeehouse staffed by employees from each of our companies. The art adopted a friendlier, casual styling, using a hand-drawn logo treatment and iconography throughout the collateral to accentuate the coffeehouse feel. In addition to pop-up banners, calling cards, and social media assets, we developed a website that profiled employees. The site gave career fair attendees a fast, simple way to connect directly with our HR department after the event.
The event collected a record 42 resumes. As a follow-up post-event we mailed out custom GroupM coffee mugs with personalized notes from the employees students spoke with at the fair. GroupM HR was extremely pleased with the experience and is still using “the coffeehouse” as their go-to booth experience today.
